Prompt super-efficient service. Quality of materials used and service given is second to none. Cannot praise Joseph highly enough. Would recommend him to anyone and would not hesitate to contact him again if we need work doing in the future.

I engaged Joseph to tidy up my garden and fix my iron and wood gate to a presentable condition for selling the house, and he did a fantastic job. His brief was to make the place look "good enough" and increase kerb appeal for viewings. He cleared our garden debris pile, cut back the overgrown borders, dressed them, and cut the grass that hadn't been done in 6-9 months. The garden looks in great shape now, especially battling through the weather!The gates were removed, poles straightened, painted (including the wood), and refitted with new hardware to look nearly new. I would definitely recommend Grain And Earth for gardening and landscaping. And the agreed budget was stuck to!

I'm almost certain Joseph is a wizard. He's taken my overgrown, weedy, eye sore of a garden and turned it into a beautifully sculptured lawn. It took him several hours of toiling in absolutely dire Scottish weather but he didn't complain a jot and was in fact an absolute pleasure. Joseph needs only to glance at a garden to know exactly what it needs and how to make it look wonderful. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, reliable and skilled and has done such a superb job of my garden that I am, as aforementioned, convinced the man's a wizard!

I was so glad to find in Joseph someone whose ideas and ethos aligned with my own, for the long awaited process of turning our overgrown and unsafe patch into a haven for adults and children alike.He listened to my ideas and came up with a design that ticked all of our boxes - and when I added/removed/altered things, he was happy to accommodate!Joseph was able to explain fully the options he considered for materials etc, which really helped us to make decisions based both on economy and longevity. The kids are loving tearing around the larch decks, bark play area and newly levelled lawn. The adults are enjoying the patio, raised beds, and sleeper benches. Oh and the space! As he also helped us to load a skip full of DIY waste, and gave absolutely invaluable advice (and a loan of some tools) while we were building a stud wall and installing new skirting boards.Enthusiastic thumbs up from the whole family and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Joseph for any external or internal work, I only hope he doesn't get too busy to fit us in when we're ready for him to come back!

Joseph has made a tremendous difference to my badly overgrown garden in just two days. He is a grafter and is very knowledgeable about plants, specifically focusing on reintroducing native species and has lots of great ideas. Definitely recommend!
