Based in New Jersey, Bert will lead Postsaver’s U.S. market growth, working directly with sawmills, lumber yards, and wood industry professionals to expand access to Postsaver’s innovative product range.
This strategic move along with USA product stocking and distribution marks a significant milestone in Postsaver’s commitment to the U.S. market, ensuring faster local support, streamlined communication, and on-the-ground engagement with customers across the country.

One of Bert’s key focus areas will be promoting the PostMizer application machine – a revolutionary machine which has been developed in conjunction with Wood-Mizer. PostMizer automates the application of Postsaver’s protective barrier sleeves, offering sawmills and lumber yards a faster, consistent, and guaranteed solution for shielding posts against ground-line decay. This aligns with the company’s objective to introduce Postsaver +PLUS rot protection - offering 40 years of guaranteed protection and performance for wooden fence, deck and gate posts - to a broad U.S. customer base.
The U.S. fencing market continues to grow, with increasing demand for eco-conscious, long-lasting solutions in agricultural, residential, and commercial sectors. Wood remains the most sustainable and environmentally responsible fencing material, thanks to its renewability, low embodied energy, and natural aesthetic. However, untreated or poorly protected wood is vulnerable to decay at the ground-line – the most common point of failure. As a result, there is a growing need for proven, guaranteed solutions that maximize post life and improves the environmental and economic benefits of wood.
